North Pole Isn’t the Only Place With Ice

It’s not superman, nor batman, nor a bottle flippin’ in mid-air, but a cold treat coming your way.

Cold Stone Creamery has been defying the law of gravity by throwing their delicious treats right straight to their customers’ cone or cup. Because handling ice creams to the people are way too boring, so why not give them the thrill of catching those flying ice creams? That is what made the ice cream experience in Cold Stone… cool. Both literally and figuratively.

The price ranges from Php95 up to Php1200, depending to the size and flavor. One may flip at how high the ice creams cost. But hey, it’s not your regular cold treat mix. They have this special signatures called Cold Stone Signature Creation™ which features a not-so-ordinary twist of their very own recipe together with mix-ins, may it be fruits, cookies or other sweets.

“How good is our ice cream? Well, let’s just say that on a scale of 1 to 10, we’re somewhere around an 11.5. But we’re about more than just serving up amazing ice cream. We like to think we’re really in the business of making people happy.”

What I like about the service is that they have free tasting of their products. They hand out small spoons and let people be the judge whether to buy one or not, without betting on their money.

Too many flavors and I ended up with their Cheesecake Fantasy®. Not too sweet, not too bland, but just right for anyone who wants a balance. The combination of their ice cream’s sweetness and sourness of the berries worked for me. I may come back for more when I’m feeling fancy. At the very least, any regular ice cream can satisfy me. No need to stab my wallet.
